Abstract
- This article presents a methodology for experimentally determining the critical speed in a laboratory ball mill. The mill drum (grinding media) and the grinding bodies are made of 3D printed PLA material, the mill covers are made of Plexiglas. The mill designed in this way aims to monitor the movement and interaction of grinding bodies and environment. The critical moments that need to be paid more attention to are presented. The equipment used to measure the speed is a laser tachometer. A high-speed camera was also used to determine the exact moment of reaching the critical speed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
