Abstract

Since Brazilian Pentecostalism began to be studied by social scientists, given the diversity of groups and denominations, sociologists and sociologists have sought to understand them and divide them into typological categories. Among the proposed typologies that stand out the most are the following: pentecostalism as a religion or sect, classical pentecostalism, divine healing pentecostalism, of magic, neo-pentecostalism and the Pentecostalism of the three waves. It is important to note that these typologies were developed in the field of social sciences, with anthropology and religious sciences, which considered the behavioral aspects, beliefs and actions of groups called pentecostals. As there is the possibility of establishing a typology based on theology, which some theologians have already been doing, the aim of this article is to collaborate with a proposal for a theological typology that analyzes the doctrinal content of the various segments of Brazilian Pentecostalism. We will consider the typological possibility of a Christianity of pentecostality, of the pentecostal and of the pentecostalized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
