Kharijism is a religious and political movement that started in the pre-Islamic period and emerged as a result of the political, social, economic and cultural changes and transformations experienced after Islam. As a result of the political, social, cultural and economic change and transformation that took place during the first four caliphs, a number of conflicts arose among Muslims. The mass revolt movement that emerged during the reign of Uthman resulted in his murder. The election of Ali as caliph did not solve the problems. On the contrary, it brought new problems with it. During this period, the issues of Camel, Siffin and Arbitration Incident caused a political and religious grouping in Ali's army. The idea of arbitrator put forward in Siffin was not the only reason for this divergence.
