Edge detection system for speed control of vehicle.

With the advent of few software tools, the field of image processing is moving in new direction to solve the problems in real time. Here, we propose an edge detection system using Raspberry Pi to distinguish the edges of the road and use the same for the speed control. The proposed system detects the path, captures the pictures and direct it to raspberry-pi3. The captured image is converted into edge image using edge detection algorithm. The edge detection is based on Open CV software. Experimental results establish that the method is fast in capturing and converting the images for any real time applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
