In the article, the author discusses the meaning of decolonizing Francophone Africa in contemporary French and Francophone studies. Other topics include the concepts of decoloniality from Latin American anti-colonial scholars like Catherine Walsh, Walter Mignolo, and Nelson Maldonado-Torres, and the Francophone African diaspora.
