Abstract
- A decline in sperm counts is occurring globally, with studies showing a decrease in both the quantity and quality of semen. Environmental toxins, such as endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) found in plastics and pesticides, are suspected to play a major role in this decline. Other factors, such as obesity, poor diet, and viral infections, may also contribute to the problem. Lifestyle interventions, such as weight loss, dietary changes, and increased physical activity, have shown promise in improving sperm health. However, more research is needed to fully understand the causes and potential solutions to this issue. [Extracted from the article]
