Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of development of the regional market of poultry products in Ukraine. The article provides general statistics on the number of birds of all species, the production of eggs and bird meat. It also mentions the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the poultry market and import dependence on feed. It has been noted that despite these difficulties, the poultry market remains an important branch of agriculture in Ukraine. The data on state support for the development of poultry farming is also given. In general, the article contains useful information for those interested in the state and prospects of the development of poultry farming in Ukraine. This article is devoted to the strategic advantages of the development of the regional fruit growing market. It has been noted that infrastructure development, product quality improvement, export development, scientific research activities and support of small and medium-sized poultry farms are key advantages for ensuring stable and effective development of the regional market for poultry products. Challenges facing the industry have also been highlighted and recommendations for overcoming them have been given. The article contains important recommendations for producers, government bodies and investors who are interested in the development of the regional market for poultry products. The article suggests the possibility of strategic advantages that can maximize production efficiency, improve product quality, develop marketing strategies, support small and medium-sized producers, develop innovative projects and ensure the protection of bird health. The proposed strategies ensure food security and economic growth of regions engaged in the production of poultry products. To achieve success in this field, it is also important to improve the qualifications of workers and provide modern equipment and technologies, transport access to the market, places for storage and processing of products. In general, consideration of these strategic priorities will help create a competitive and sustainable regional market for poultry products in Ukraine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
