This article discusses the use of laser therapy in the treatment of burn wound healing. A burn is a skin injury caused by heat and can be classified into three degrees. Laser therapy is a relevant physiotherapeutic treatment that has effects on healing, remodeling, and tissue repair. The literature review evaluated 30 articles and concluded that laser therapy can accelerate the proliferative phase of healing, increasing vascularization and reorganizing collagen. The most common application parameters are a dose of 30J/cm² and a wavelength of 660nm. Spot laser therapy and the use of the pulsed mode are emphasized as crucial points in the healing process.
