Abstract
- The article offers information on the Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems operated by the U.S. Coast Guard. These include Rescue 21, the Coast guard's advanced command, control and communications system which aimed to better locate mariners in distress and save lives and property at sea; the APS-143C OceanEye multimode X-band radar with a 360-degree scan, and the electro-optical sensor system (ESS).
