Abstract
- [ Objective] The study aimed to investigate the diversity, abundance and function of endophytic bacteria of morel mushroom (Morchella SPP. ). [Method] The DNA of endophytic bacteria from with mild, moderate, severe and complete susceptibility fruiting body in M. esculenta was analyzed by Illumina Miseq high-throughput sequencing technology. Bioinformatics analysis and alpha diversity index of endophytic bacteria ASV s obtained by sequencing were performed to explore the structure and diversity of endophytic bacteria in the process of morel fruiting body infection. [ Result] The abundance index of endophytic bacterial communities in Morchella mushrooms was as follows: Moderate disease group > complete disease group > mild disease group > severe disease group > healthy group. The diversity index results were as follows: Moderate disease group > healthy group > mild disease group > severe disease group > complete disease group. The evenness index results were as follows: Healthy group > severe disease group > mild disease group > complete disease group > moderate disease group. The dominant genera of endophytic bacteria in healthy Morchella mushrooms belonged to the phyla Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes, with the genus Pseudorrwnas and Flavobacterium being the predominant genera, accounting for 46. 92 % and 41. 07 % of the total endophytic bacterial population in healthy mushrooms, respectively. The relative abundance of the genus Pseudomonas increased with the severity of the disease, exceeding 95 % in severely affected mushrooms, while the relative abundance of the genus Flavobacterium decreased, dropping below 3 % in severely affected mushrooms. Furthermore, endophytic bacteria belonging to the phylum Actinobacteria were present in all diseased mushrooms. [ Conclusion] The balanced regulation of the endophytic flora of morel fruiting body, such as the inhibition of Firmicutes and the promotion of Flavobacterium from Bacteroidetes, will help to reduce the production of morchella infection in large areas and guarantee the stable yield of morel disease resistance.
