Poder administrativo y económico en el ordenamiento territorial: Sabaneta, Antioquia.

This article analyzes certain aspects of territory production based on administrative and economic power in the municipality of Sabaneta, Antioquia. Using the "case study" method as a research strategy, the analysis situates this territory as a unique case in terms of urban growth. In this context, it proposes a contextual, empirical, and theoretical dialogue concerning urban growth, the metropolitanization of the Aburrá Valley, planning instruments, population dynamics, and the actors in real estate and urban gentrification. It sheds light on the logics of contemporary capitalism and the practices of deregulation or normative adjustment by recent municipal governments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
