Abstract

The objective of this documentary research article is to determine the relationship between play activities and motor coordination in elementary general basic education students. The selected methodological process was structured in the systematic review of the last six years of articles and research, using as a search principle the multidisciplinary databases gathered in electronic systems such as Scielo, Scopus, Google academic and Dialnet among others, which focused on the mentioned topic and developed in the Spanish language, through the guidelines of the UNIANDES statement. The result obtained allowed to determine the effect of play activities on motor coordination, in turn, the importance and benefit in strengthening coordination skills during their growth and development to ensure physical strengthening during school age. Likewise, coordination development is closely related to the practice of physical activity and play activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
