Abstract

The article titled "Advertising, digital society, and critical perspectives. Introduction" presents a monograph that seeks to gather studies focused on advertising, but that go beyond considering it only as a service, delving into its social and cultural dimension. The importance of approaching advertising from a critical perspective in a context where sustainability is a priority is highlighted. The article presents different study proposals that address topics such as the representation of women in advertising, the use of influencers, and the adaptation of advertising to the digital environment.
