Abstract
- This article reflects on the experiences of educational leaders in Melbourne, Australia during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. The lockdown in Melbourne was particularly strict and lasted for 112 days, causing disconnection and negative impacts on mental wellbeing. The article highlights the challenges faced by educators, parents, and students as they transitioned to online learning and dealt with the loss of social interaction. It also discusses the difficulties faced by international students and the impact on the higher education industry. The article calls for further research on the effects of the pandemic on educational leaders and emphasizes the need for support and guidance in times of crisis. [Extracted from the article]
