Review of the genus Subhimalus Ghauri (Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae) from India with description of a new species.

The genus Subhimalus from tribe Paralimnini is reviewed from India along with the description of a new species. The genus was described from India by Ghauri (1971) with S. melanus as its type. A new species of the genus Subhimalus macrocurvatussp. n. is described and illustrated from India after a long time. The genus includes five valid species and so far, has only been reported from India (five species) and China (two species).
