Abstract
- This study has established the stability of Reissner–Nordström black holes within a specific parameter range against charged scalar perturbations. Additionally, the near-extremal Reissner–Nordström black holes exhibit a phenomenon known as the Schwinger effect for black holes, involving the production of charged scalar particles. This paper explores the stability and Schwinger effect in the context of static charged black holes within the Einstein–ModMax theory. Our approach closely aligns with the existing literature methods. We aim to investigate how the nonlinearity inherent in the theory may impact both the stability regime and the rate of charged scalar pair production by the black hole. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
