Abstract

This article discusses the role of real-life data (RLD) in the development and implementation of health guidelines. The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the Respiratory Effectiveness Group (REG) are committed to using RLD to reflect the real-life experiences of patients. The article highlights the importance of non-randomized studies of interventions (NRSI) as a source of evidence that mimics real-life situations. The REG Manifesto on the importance of real-life research and the Real Life Evidence Assessment Tool (RELEVANT) are also mentioned. The article concludes by mentioning the upcoming workshop in Rome to further discuss these topics. [Extracted from the article]
