The proportion of women in social diaconia is 65%, with older age groups being the most represented. Most positions in social diaconia are part-time, while there are only a few full-time positions. The study recommends a clarification of the relationship between social diaconia and youth work, as well as an intensification of talent development. At least 240 age-related employment relationships will need to be filled in the next ten years.
