Research the braking system operation in freight cars running on the railways of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This article describes the design scheme and the principle of operation of the brake system of freight cars, which operated on the railways of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The accepted assumptions of the calculated values for analytical research under various braking modes for freight cars equipped with cast-iron or composite brake pads are given. Conclusions are made by regarding the existing design of the air distributor, namely its movable elements located horizontally. An analogue with the installation of the main and main parts in a vertical position is proposed. Developed the design of the air distributor No. 483A with the installation of the main parts in a vertical position in the section of the brake line without a tee and a supply pipe using threadless pipe connections.
