This study aimed to establish how Tax Justice, Isomorphic Forces and Strategic Responses are related to Tax Compliance in small businesses in Mato Grosso. The research is descriptive, with quantitative data and cross-sectional; the final sample had 108 responses from micro and small business, selected through the sampling by convenience technique and the snowball method. The data analysis technique used was the structural equation modeling with partial least squares (PLS) estimation. The results have shown that Isomorphic Forces have influence in Tax Compliance, and that there is a positive relationship between Isomorphic Forces and Strategic Responses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
