The present investigation comes closer to the thematic of the free coloured people in the historiography from the works taken place by authors santiagueros in the period of 1962 up to the 2018. Based fundamentally on bibliographical sources to analyze the contributions that have been carried out to the thematic one, this work in a general way it seeks to enlarge the studies of regional and local history and in the particular thing the thematic of the free coloured people.
