Abstract

The objective of the trial was to evaluate the callogenesis in vine seedlings using filters by double grafting technique. The trial was conducted in 2017, it was used a completely randomized experimental design with two treatments and subdivided plots, two filters, two varieties and 5 levels of evaluation of callus and root. Treatments: A1 - Cabernet sauvingon crown variety, grafted in the filter 101 - 14 Mgta (Callus 2), with 4cm, grafted in Paulsen 1103(Callus 1), A2 - Merlot variety, SO4 filter, with 8cm (C2), grafted in Paulsen1103 (C1). The evaluation was made at the end of the stratification, following the classification table, which ranged from 0, without formation and 4, complete formation, callogenesis level used in the pattern for planting the grafts in the field. The lowest % of roots coincided with the highest levels of calogenesis. There was no difference between treatments, considering the sizes of filters, different varieties of filter and canopy, for the callogenesis. A1 and A2, presented an average of 92.02% for callus C1 and 7.75% for callus C2. The production of viable grafts for field planting was limited by the low formation of the callus filter/canopy.
