The December 2023 issue of the Journal of Spatial Science announces the winner of the Best Research Paper Award, which is given annually based on peer-reviewed research and review papers published between July 2022 and June 2023. The issue also expresses gratitude to the former Editor-in-Chief, Professor Graeme Wright, and thanks Assistant Editor Caroline Berryman for their contributions. The Editorial Board bids farewell to Dr. Bob Hickey, a valued member who has served on the board for several years.
