his study aims to clarify the importance of the academic accreditation of the educational system and its role in reaching a common vision based on improving the quality of the educational system. In addition, it presents some practices in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan Arab countries. The study found that there are actual initiatives to support quality in the higher education in these countries. The results are attained through the establishment of structures that work to grant academic accreditation and follow up its achievement. In addition, the required standards based on accuracy and privacy in order to monitor the performance of institutions of higher education at several levels, which enhances the trust between the state and society are defined.
