Abstract
- The experiment was conducted in the field of the Department of Horticulture and Landscaping / College of Agriculture / Tikrit University during the 2021-2022 planting season on Dendranthema grandiflora, The seedlings were planted on 1/7/2021 at a rate of three seedlings in each pot, The study aims to produce Dendranthema as a flowering pot plant for indoor spaces and to know the extent of the plant's response to spraying with nano-selenium and adding potassium and the interaction between them, The study included two factors: the first spraying plants with nano-selenium at three levels (0,50,100) mg.l−1, and the second adding potassium at four levels (0,1,2,3) g.l−1. The experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The results showed that spraying with nano-selenium 100 mg.L−1 was significantly superior to plant height, selenium concentration, and date of first inflorescence (33.00 cm, 14.75 ppm, 141.66 days), and adding potassium at a level of 2 g.L−1 gave significant differences in age. The field coordination and the household coordination age reached (40.77 days, 34.33 days), and at the level of addition of 3 g.l−1, it gave a significant superiority in the potassium concentration characteristic which amounted to (1.83%).
