A TRADUCÃO DOS COLOMBIANISMOS "BERRACO" E "CHIMBA" DA SÉRIE NARCOS PARA O PORTUGUÊS DO BRASIL: UMA ANÁLISE SOCIOLINGUÍSTICA.

This research aims to analyze how the options chosen by subtitling professionals were used in the process of translating text from Colombian Spanish into Brazilian Portuguese concerning the dialogues extracted from the Narcos series. To analyze the subtitling process, this investigation adopted the theoretical framework related to audiovisual translation studies by Diaz Cintas (2003), Labov's soOohnguistio (1978, 2006), Diaz-Campos (2014) and sociolinguistic translation by Mayoral Asensio (1998), Bolaflos Cuellar (2000) and Pontes (2014). With that aim, the Colombianisms 'berrao" and "chimbe were selected due to their frequency of occurrence, each one presenting a different context. Results suggest that in the process of the translation of Colombianisms into Portuguese the translator/subtitkr nor always considers the translation practices and the influences of social, linguistic, and cultural aspects.
