Abstract

In order to study the influencing factors and reasonable parameters of the calibration test for measuring soil density and moisture content and by using the complex impedance method, this paper adopted a combination of indoor experiments and on-site verification methods for research. By configuring multiple sets of soil samples with dry density and mass moisture content, and selecting different numbers of samples and sample combinations, a calibration relationship between dry density, complex impedance, volume moisture content, and capacitance resistance ratio of soil samples was built. The experimental results indicate that selecting a reasonable range of soil sample dry density and mass moisture content, as well as the number of samples, can significantly improve the fitting degree of the calibration relationship, while the sample combination method has a relatively smaller impact. In addition, the calibration relationship obtained based on the above experiments has been applied to engineering field testing with good accuracy, verifying the rationality of the above parameters.
