Abstract
- With the development and utilization of shoreline resources, pedestrian trestle platforms have become a beautiful landscape in hydrophilic cities. The characteristics of wave currents in tidal inlets are complex, especially those in central urban district. Due to the comprehensive constraints of work space and duration, the construction difficulty has been enhanced. Taking the phase II of the Haikou Bay Smooth Traffic Project as an example, a scheme design was carried out in order to facilitate construction. By building a unidirectional coupling model of hydrodynamic force and structural force, the design scheme was optimized on the basis of comprehensive analysis of dynamic conditions and structural force in the engineering area, and the key points of designing pedestrian trestle platform in tidal inlet were summarized. After research, it is found that the dynamic conditions in the tidal inlet where this project is located have little influence on the structure under the action of constant waves, and the design structure is stable. However, under extreme weather conditions, due to the effect of wind and waves and water increase, the water depth under the platform in the inlet is shallow, and there is a risk of sudden silting of sediment after the sediment is over hanged. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of the bottom bed of the inlet in areas with large flow velocities such as the north bank of the open section and the narrow section before and after typhoons.
