Abstract
- This paper reviews changes in behavior due to the COVID-19 pandemic in various regions of Russia. Firstly, derivation of the behavioral SIR model shows that the activity level turns out to be an important factor affecting the pandemic. Secondly, I have collected data for the spread of the disease, vaccination, and public behavior (a link to this dataset is provided in Section 3). Behavior is represented by the data from Google Mobility Trends. Thirdly, correlation analysis has been applied to select the best proxies for the activity level. It is described by the intensity of visiting parks and transit stations, as well as that of retail and recreation. In addition, this research highlights special circumstances due to which responses in some regions deviate from the general trend. Both the behavioral proxies and peculiarities of the regions are the main results of my paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
