The paper discusses the dialectical theory of information as a logic and method to criticize technological fetishism. The new technologies do not remodel the class struggle, although they are central to understand contemporaneity. In order to overcome liberal naivety, we rescued the theories of Marxists such as Álvaro Vieira Pinto and Anthony Wilden through a bibliographical research. The dialectical perspective of open systems exposes the universality of information and communication, not only for the capitalist mode of production, but for the totality of reality, where capital has become the ultimate mediator of the social relations of production.
