Abstract
- A case study reports the real-world effectiveness and safety of vismodegib in Greek patients with advanced, multiple, and metastatic basal cell carcinoma (BCC), detailing treatment outcomes and adverse events. The study, though limited by its retrospective design and small sample size, highlights high response rates but also frequent treatment discontinuations due to adverse effects, indicating challenges in long-term drug use for controlling advanced BCCs.
