Abstract

This article discusses a case study on the use of hydrogen gas inhalation as a treatment for myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). ME/CFS is a condition characterized by unexplained fatigue and malaise that lasts for more than 6 months. The study examined the efficacy of hydrogen gas inhalation in four patients with ME/CFS and found that it significantly attenuated symptoms such as fatigue, headache, muscle pain, and poor concentration. The results suggest that hydrogen gas may have potential as a therapeutic agent for ME/CFS, but further large-scale clinical studies are needed to confirm these findings.
