Foreword.

The 2022 International Conference on Nuclear Analytical Techniques (NAT2022) was held in Daejeon, Korea, in conjunction with the 8th Symposium on Radiation in Medicine, Space, and Power (RMSP-VIII) and the Symposium on Applications of Chemical and Analytical Technologies in the Nuclear Industry (Nu-ACT 2022). The conference was organized by the Korean Nuclear Society (KNS), the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), and the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology at Seoul National University (SNU), with support from other organizations. The conference featured sessions on various topics related to nuclear analytical techniques and included presentations from distinguished speakers. The conference saw an increase in participation compared to its predecessor, NAT2020, indicating the growing interest in the field. A special issue of the Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry (JRNC) will publish 22 papers from the conference. [Extracted from the article]
