«TABITHÀ, ALZATI!» Il senso del racconto di "risurrezione" in At 9,36-43.

The article sets out, with different emphases, the main themes that run through this short but significant pericope of the Acts, which revolve around representative and exemplary figures of the ekklêsia of the first century AD: the apostle Peter, the disciple Tabithà, the widows of the Christian community of Joppe. The topics highlighted are the analogy with the miracles of Jesus, the historical-salvific link with the great prophets of the past, the prodigious event as reason for spreading the Word, the caring for the poors. In the tale emerges, in particular, the ecclesial adoption of a true sharing practice, the implementation of which "speaks" to believers of every generation to urge them to a common and permanent action in favour of the neediest subjects.
