Abstract

This article discusses a case study of a pregnant woman diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) during her second trimester. The woman was enrolled in a clinical trial that allowed pregnant patients to participate. She received treatment based on a pediatric protocol that included the use of pegylated asparaginase. The patient achieved complete remission and delivered a healthy baby. The case highlights the challenges of managing maternal and fetal risks during ALL therapy and emphasizes the need for collaboration between healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. Further research is needed to confirm the safety of pegylated asparaginase in pregnancy. [Extracted from the article]
