Blockchain technology in securing academic credentials: Mobile QR block CV.

Certificates, diplomas, ever since their inception have been used as a measure of an individual's abilities and qualifications. Fake degrees or document frauds can have disastrous consequences, from short-term reputational damage to loss of trust in the educational industry. This paper presents a developed prototype that uses a hybrid proof-of-authority blockchain network to securely record curriculum vitae data and combat fake degrees or document frauds using QR Block CV. It is also developed following the agile SDLC to be a native Xamarin. Forms mobile application on the Ethereum platform that functions as an interface for users to interact with the blockchain network, sharing CVs via QR code, allowing for better accessibility.
