Un museo imaginado. La experiencia chilena de Mário Pedrosa.

This article intends to reflect on the Solidarity Museum project carried out by the Brazilian critic Mário Pedrosa within the framework of the Popular Unity government of Salvador Allende. Two central hypotheses will be proposed, the first has to do with the meanings that the Popular Unity project, in general, and the Solidarity Museum, in particular, could have had for Mário Pedrosa; the second, closely related to the first, is what significance a project such as the Solidarity Museum could have had for the cultural policies of a government such as that of the Popular Unity.
