ANÁLISE E MAPEAMENTO DE PROCESSOS POR MEIO DE BPMN EM UM CENTRO DE DISTRIBUIÇÃO VAREJISTA.

The present work sought to analyze and suggest improvements to the goods distribution process carried out by the goods distribution center of a food retail company, formed by four self-service stores, located in the city of Santa Maria, in Rio Grande do Sul. case study is characterized as a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach. For data collection, a bibliographic review was first carried out in order to understand concepts about the proposed theme in a second moment, the data survey was carried out through interviews and local observation. The results made it possible to identify and describe the macroprocess of distribution of goods that is pre-defined, which is composed of the subprocesses of receiving, storage and shipping, but all occur in an organic way, without any type of descriptive script or graphic diagram, formalized. Therefore, the implementation of the BPMN diagram, made it possible to clearly visualize the flow of the activities of the Distribution Center, thus making it possible to formalize its activities in future training of conferring employees.
