Abstract

A 73-year-old woman with a history of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, cervical spinal stenosis, and depression developed vertigo while being treated with levodopa/carbidopa for Parkinson's disease. She also experienced a lack of efficacy with levodopa treatment. The woman had a progressive history of imbalance and falls, and had gained weight. Genetic testing later confirmed a diagnosis of GRN-frontotemporal dementia. The woman's family history was significant for dementia as well. [Extracted from the article]
