Abstract
- According to new data, women now make up at least 50% of full-time M.B.A. students at five top business schools, marking a record number of major programs reaching this milestone in a given year. This increase in female enrollment reflects the efforts of business schools to recruit more women in recent years. Overall, women represent 42% of full-time M.B.A. students at partner schools of the Forté Foundation, up from 33% a decade ago. Business schools have been working to increase the number of female applicants in order to address the gender gap in leadership roles and meet employer demand for top female talent.
