The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge economic impact because it forced people to significantly reduce outdoor activities, thus changing many life settings. Families with good strength have been a major element in dealing with economic shocks during the pandemic. This study aims to describe and analyze the strength of families facing economic shocks during the pandemic. Qualitative method using a phenomenological approach. The results show that parents' commitment to education as well as the role of spirituality improve family adaptation skills to pressures to shape family strength strategies during the pandemic. The dynamics of family strength that should be the main defense when the pandemic is not functioning optimally due to economic shocks that have a major impact on physical, psychological, and social aspects. Social resilience breeds resilience in psychological aspects. Efforts to increase family strength by optimizing family functions and roles and the need for socialization of family strength held by institutions or communities.
