Abstract

Rainfall is one of the most important factors affecting slope stability. Based on the Bizui Avionics Hub project in Xinjiang, Jiangxi Province, and based on the saturation-unsaturated seepage theory, Geo-studio was adopted to simulate the seepage and stability changes of slope under different rain patterns, which were less concerned by previous studies. SLOPE/ W and SEEP/ W modules were used to analyze the seepage field and safety factor evolution of slope under different rain patterns. The calculation results show that the effects of different rain patterns on the stability of the slope are as follows: sudden type < post peak type < middle peak type < front peak type < uniform type. Under the condition of rainfall infiltration, the lag of pore pressure change after the cycle peak and uniform circulation is stronger than that of other rain patterns, and the longer the distance from the slope surface, the stronger the lag of pore pressure change. Under the same cycle conditions, the influence of each rain pattern on the slope in different periods is different and the difference in each period is different. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
