Abstract

This study is based on initial teacher training and its consistency with good pedagogical practices, hence the main objective was to determine the relationship of both. Specifically, the relationship between both variables was sought with respect to: the educational context, the curriculum and its approach, the pedagogical processes in the construction of learning, formative evaluation, coexistence, and the favorable climate for learning. 137 students from the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National University were taken as a sample. Likewise, the descriptive, correlational and explanatory scientific method was used, which allowed directing the study, obtaining as a result 0.751; which shows that there is a high positive correlation between initial teacher training and good pedagogical practices of university students.
