This article discusses the possible acute effects of an osteopathic manipulative treatment session on mobility, balance, and gait in individuals with Parkinson's disease. The study was conducted on 22 individuals with PD, divided into two groups: control and OMT. The results showed that a single session of OMT improved ankle dorsiflexion range of motion and decreased gait cadence in people with PD.
