This article discusses the impact of functionality and social participation of children with cerebral palsy on the quality of life of parents. The study analyzed the relationship between motor function, social participation, and socioeconomic level of children with cerebral palsy and the quality of life of parents. Thirteen children aged between 3 and 14 years were evaluated, and a positive correlation was found between the social participation of children and the psychological health of parents. Furthermore, the greater the caregiver's need for assistance, the lower the interaction with the social environment.
