Research progress in the effect of salinity on activated sludge system.

This paper reviews the effects of salinity on activated sludge biological treatment systems, including the effects on sludge properties such as settling performance and sludge activity, and system treatment effects such as degradation efficiency of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen, and further elaborates the mechanisms.
