Abstract
- Indonesia is one of the few countries recognized as having high potential in aquaculture for two decades, especially grouper aquaculture. Grouper fish is also a type of fish that has high economic value, its presence in the community, especially fishermen, has made Indonesia the fourth largest grouper producing country in the world. Even though it is beneficial for the Indonesian economy, grouper fish cannot be separated from the constraints in the process as well as the impacts caused by its own application, such as overfishing. Therefore, grouper cultivation is carried out as a step to reduce the bad effects of the problems previously described. There are many things that must be considered in order for the cultivation go without obstacles in the process, one of the most important things to consider is the regulations used in grouper cultivation. This regulation is used as a guide so that the cultivation process is more sustainable from several aspects that will be discussed in the form of hatchery, feed, economy, and the environment.
