Abstract
- The article reports on updates on the U.S. labor sector, particularly on whether employers are miscalculating the strikes staged by their workers. Also cited are the almost five-month strike by Hollywood writers in which they secured wage increases and minimum staffing levels for shows, the talks between the United Automobile Workers (UAW) union and car makers Ford Motor, General Motors, and Stellantis, and the comment by independent producer Peter Newman on the effects of the strikes.
