Abstract

As a result of the research, mathematical modelling was performed to determine the optimal temperatures in the zones of the material cylinder. As a raw material for producing a set of products, polypropylene of the HB600TF brand is used. The simulation of the injection moulding process in the SolidWorks Plastics software is aimed at investigating the analysis of the melt flow and the ease of filling the part using the "flow" module, which predicts the method of filling the cavity with the material. The obtained temperature results are intended to manufacture plastic products by injection moulding. The transfer function of the material cylinder was obtained by the method of active influences, followed by tracking the object's reaction under study. This method requires minimal information about the device of the object, about the processes taking place in it and can be applied to working objects in real, working operating conditions, providing acceptable accuracy in determining the transfer function. The optimal tuning coefficients for the proportional-integral-differential law of regulation are calculated. The Rotach method is used to calculate the parameters of the regulator. The simulation of the temperature control system with optimal controller parameters was performed in the VisSim environment. A graph of the transition process with the obtained PID controller is given. The obtained data of mathematical modelling and calculation of optimal coefficients of the PID controller can be used to regulate the temperature on a material cylinder in the production of plastic products by injection moulding.
