Programa de rádio Ecos do Pampa: Diálogo de saberes sobre as plantas nativas do Bioma Pampa.

The Pampa Biome is a mosaic of rural and forest landscapes. In the last two decades, the intrinsic biodiversity of these ecosystems has been suffering a serious threat due to the pressure on land use by agricultural activities. An alternative to this reality is sensitizing society to appreciate local plant species. Thus, the objective of the work was to stimulate the connection between scientific and popular knowledge of native species of the Pampa from the educative communication processes. The mídia used was a radio program called "Ecos do Pampa". The results show that popular wisdom emphasizes information about medicine and cooking, and scientific knowledge highlights ecological data. In the face of dialogue, there is a need to strengthen educative communication processes to foster the link between knowledge. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
